Conference Alignment Changes for 2014

Unless I've made a mistake there are a whopping 45 teams that will be in a different conference than there were last year. Four of those are teams new to division 1. All play a D1 schedule and historically that has meant they will count in the RPI but not be eligible for the post-season.
The biggest changes are the split-off of the football-playing Big East schools to the new American Athletic Conference and the demise of the short-lived Great West.
