From an analyst's perspective a perfect bracket would have all first-round matchups between teams with no common opponents, and no regular season rematches during regional play. Nobody cares (nor should they) about analyst's desires, but fans would be on-board with the rematch bit, too.

Cells include the number of common opponents (bold unless there are none) followed by the record vs common opponents. The record for the team named in the row is highlighted green-"ish" if it is better than the team represented by the column heading, red-"ish" if worse. If he win% vs common opponents is equal for the row and column team, the cell is gray-"ish".
